Toyota wanted to educate people about their hybrid cars and take away all confusion around “hybrid”. Therefore they launched the site “Toyota – Hybrid Debate”. With some simple checks Toyota wanted to recognize if visitors are “open” or “doubtful” about hybrids and address them accordingly. As a result they lead people to debates in a text message format, throughout the interactive website Bliss created. The website shows videos as a background therefore visitors can have more real interactions.
Next to being informative, the site of course is also intended to be commercial and thus advertises the different hybrid Toyota models on the site. This way, people can be convinced by technical information, actual conversations between believers and non-believers and finally book a test drive at a Toyota dealer, right from the website itself.
